Fantasy: Sit Chris Davis

I have Chris Davis on my fantasy team and I am trying the “Sit Chris Davis” experiment.  It helps my average and on base (If you have it) and hitting strikeouts (if you have it).  It only cuts a homer and a couple RBIs a week.  I think he will bounce back, but until he does I would sit him.  30 homers and 100 RBI aren’t out of reach so I don’t think you should drop him.  Davis won’t get many hits or have a good average this year.  He still has some fantasy value but not as much as he should.  Davis will always have power and drive in runs, but should have better numbers than this year.  He is a solid third baseman fantasy wise, he’s just in a slump.  I wouldn’t sit him for long but right now it wouldn’t be a bad idea to sit him.  Value: $ 7
